Springtime Spring Forward Spring Training Spring is in the (h)Air! Spring Fever "It's a spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want to — oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!" - Mark Twain Hello Spring! I don’t know about you, but I cannot believe it is already (finally - however you want to look at it) March. I am ready for the newness of what this time of year brings. I am also feeling more hopeful that we are getting to the other side of this pandemic. A little over a year ago many of you were sent home to set up your “home offices”. In March of last year, the first shelter in place order was issued, closing down many businesses for what we thought would be a couple weeks, which then became an indefinite period of time. Slowly, ever so slowly, we were allowed to reopen only with the angst of not knowing if and when we would be shut down once again. Needless to say it was quite a roller-coaster. Nevertheless, we preservered, survived if you will, and are now coming out the other side. Life, as we knew it, will not be what it once was. The road ahead is uncertain. So, YES, this spring is a long-awaited time for regrowth and new beginnings. How many of you had middle parts growing up? I know I did. I just recently heard that in the 90’s it was called the Butt Cut. The Butt Cut? What the heck, man! Apparently, Gen Z now wants to take credit the middle part. Sorry. NO! Check out “Excuse Me? Gen Z didn’t invent the middle part.” Almost everyone has thought about going blonde. I’ve been blonde a few times myself. If you've even been the slightest bit tempted you’ll want to read the article I have for you on 5 truths you should know before going blonde. Bangs! Who hasn't thought about having bangs. They come in all shapes and sizes (lengths). And certainly are not for everyone. Those of you wanting to make a dramatic change, curtain bangs might just be the answer. I also have articles for you on common scalp conditions, “mallen streaks”, greasy hair facts & hacks, making the most out of your lockdown outings, procrastination, a recipe for a super simple pot pie, and some history on red hair. As always, I am available by email, text or phone if you have any questions or concerns. Looking forward to seeing you soon! Be well. Take Hair! AND #MaskUp 😷 What's Inside This Month
